Fenland Woodturners are a group who are interested in woodturning, all levels of ability from beginner to experienced are represented in our membership.  2015 will be our 20th year!

The aim of our club is to promote woodturning and to assist members to develop and improve as they gain experience.

Membership is open to all.

Our meetings are held from 7 p.m. on the last Wednesday each month (except December when it is earlier) at the Spalding Common Community Hall, Spalding Common, Post Code PE113AU.

At half of our meetings we have a professional woodturner to demonstrate projects and methods. Interspersed with these are our Natter Nites usually quite noisy and full of energy as they provide an  opportunity for members to discuss their projects and gain help on how to ???. The club has two lathes and on these nights techniques can be explored in a relaxed atmosphere.

Woodturners are a friendly group and will endeavour to help all

Hi members

Since lockdown the committee have been communicating by telephone keeping an eye on the latest information with regards to easing of restrictions. This week we had our first meeting (outdoors) since that time. Our aim is to restart club meetings as soon as possible and we discussed what options we may have. We are waiting for the hall to reopen and to see what restrictions if any that they impose, if none then we will still have to impose our own to comply with social distanceing. We will meet again next month when hopefully we will in a position to make some decisions about reopening the club.

The committee hope that you all keep safe and well and we are looking forward to welcoming you all back again.
