Fenland Woodturners are a group who are interested in woodturning, all levels of ability from beginner to experienced are represented in our membership.  2015 will be our 20th year!

The aim of our club is to promote woodturning and to assist members to develop and improve as they gain experience.

Membership is open to all.

Our meetings are held from 7 p.m. on the last Wednesday each month (except December when it is earlier) at the Spalding Common Community Hall, Spalding Common, Post Code PE113AU.

At half of our meetings we have a professional woodturner to demonstrate projects and methods. Interspersed with these are our Natter Nites usually quite noisy and full of energy as they provide an  opportunity for members to discuss their projects and gain help on how to ???. The club has two lathes and on these nights techniques can be explored in a relaxed atmosphere.

Woodturners are a friendly group and will endeavour to help all

The next meeting is on the 31st July 2019 whick is a normal club meeting.

As I am sure you are all aware that the club is having a stand at the Chestnut Weekend at Springfields on the 3 & 4 th August 2019. To be able to make a good display we would like members to bring along items that we can include on our display. This is an ideal oppertunity to show off your creations to the public and other wood turners. Please bring your display pieces to the July meeting and make sure that you attach your name label on the back of each item.Being the local Wood Turning Club we are hopeing to have one of the best displays. Anyone wishing to help man the stand and talk to the public are more than welcome to come    and join us.

If you need more information then please contact any of the committee members.
