Fenland Woodturners are a group who are interested in woodturning, all levels of ability from beginner to experienced are represented in our membership.  2015 will be our 20th year!

The aim of our club is to promote woodturning and to assist members to develop and improve as they gain experience.

Membership is open to all.

Our meetings are held from 7 p.m. on the last Wednesday each month (except December when it is earlier) at the Spalding Common Community Hall, Spalding Common, Post Code PE113AU.

At half of our meetings we have a professional woodturner to demonstrate projects and methods. Interspersed with these are our Natter Nites usually quite noisy and full of energy as they provide an  opportunity for members to discuss their projects and gain help on how to ???. The club has two lathes and on these nights techniques can be explored in a relaxed atmosphere.

Woodturners are a friendly group and will endeavour to help all

Hi members we would normally be looking forward to our meeting on the 29th April but unfortunately that is not going to happen. This is a very difficult time for all of us, no one would have thought that something like this could happen, we must all stay at home when ever we can tp help to prevent the spread of this terrible virus and just hope that it will be over as quickly as possible.

There will be no meeting this month and no

meeting in May this may be extended further depending on matters beyond our control.

Don't forget that we have a facebook page where you can keep in touch, share your latest turnings and comments with other members. I have also creared a 'whats app group' for Fenland Woodturner's which is even better for shareing and keeping in contact with other members it is very simple to use.

The committee look forward to seeing you all again as soon as we can get back to normal meeting. We wish you all well and stay safe.
